CiCi’s Pizza closes in Batavia

BATAVIA – Citing a lack of business, CiCi’s Pizza this week closed its restaurant at 2014 W. Wilson St. in Batavia.

“We’ve enjoyed being part of the community, but the economy has been a little tough,” franchise owner Frank Zak said. “We weren’t able to stay open.”

The restaurant, which was located off Randall Road, closed its doors at midnight Tuesday after being open for

Suspect wanted in Sacramento County Domino's Pizza shooting

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA – Sacramento County deputies search for a suspect in Monday night’s armed robbery.

The suspect entered the Dominoes Pizza at 7250 Fair Oaks Blvd. and demanded money from the clerk, Sacramento County Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Ramos said.

When the suspect felt the employee wasn’t moving fast enough, he shot him in the upper body.
